Hi — I’m Carolyn and I’m honored to partner with couples who want more than just a quick "I do" but prefer a meaningful experience framed by nature, story, and celebration!
Why I do this
A 5th-generation Oregonian, I grew up roaming the beaches, forests and tide pools of the Oregon Coast. Those landscapes have always spoken to me — their beauty, their stillness, their connection to something bigger.
After years in the corporate travel and hospitality world, I left the cubicles behind in 2016 to follow a deeper calling: creating ceremony that matters. Since then, I’ve served hundreds of couples, creating a full-time practice as a wedding officiant on the North Oregon Coast.
Education and Training
My training includes ceremonial studies with the Celebrant Foundation & Institute, where I earned three certificates in Life Cycle Ceremonies, Healing & Transition, and Wedding Ceremonies..
Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Human Studies, and graduate coursework in Art Therapy and Counseling.
I live on the North Oregon Coast surrounded by the beauty of the rainforest with my two rescue dogs, Mojo and Darby.
