Creating a meaningful ceremony doesn’t have to be complicated.
As your officiant, my job is to make the process simple, heartfelt, and personal. I’ll work closely with you to learn your story, understand your values, and craft a ceremony that feels true to who you are.
1. Connect: Start by filling out the Contact Form. We’ll schedule a relaxed consultation (by phone or Zoom) to get to know each other, chat about your vision, and walk through what it’s like to work together. No pressure—just a chance to connect.
2. Reserve Your Date: I’ll send you a customized proposal so you can officially reserve your date with a 50% deposit.
3. Customize Your Ceremony
This is where the fun begins! I’ll send you three questionnaires to make the planning process easy and personal.
The Legalities Questionnaire walks you through everything you need to know about getting your marriage license, securing any permits, and making sure the location works for everyone. The Ceremony Questionnaire is where you can dream up the feel of your ceremony; your vows, any special rituals, and the overall tone you want to set. And the Couple Questionnaire is my favorite part, it’s a chance for me to get to know your story, what you love about each other, and all the little things that make your connection one-of-a-kind.
You’ll also get plenty of tips and feedback for writing your vows, choosing unity rituals, and adding any other personal touches you’d like.
4. Ceremony Outline: Your Ceremony, Start to Finish
Once you’ve chosen all the elements of your ceremony, I’ll put together a complete outline from start to finish. We’ll then schedule a call to walk through it together, make any adjustments you’d like, and ensure it feels right for you.
5. Tie The Knot! On the day of your elopement, we’ll meet at your chosen location, grounded and ready. I’ll guide you through a ceremony that’s personal, meaningful, and unforgettable—officiated with warmth, presence, and care.
6. Follow-up
After the ceremony, I’ll file your marriage license with the Oregon county where it was issued and send you information on ordering certified copies and making legal name changes!
While I love helping couples craft a meaningful and beautiful elopement experience, I am not a wedding planner.
